The Credentials

Education

Graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Business Management and Marketing degree with a minor in Fashion Merchandising

Experience

  • Started working at Macy’s South corporate office (when it existed) in their Women’s RTW office as an Assistant Buyer.

  • Got tapped to launch Carter’s E-commerce business in 2010 (they were way behind .com ball and only had brick-and-mortar up until this point). Rose through the ranks and eventually launched their e-commerce business in China.

  • During this time, I started a side hustle and launched a personal styling business (Styled by Remy), where I worked with people to maximize their wardrobes. This led me to Fashion and Creative direction projects.

  • I started at Stitch Fix in 2015. I led their Women’s Tops division and then got tapped to launch their children’s division.

  • From there, I went to a small business called Modern Citizen, where I oversaw their Merchandising and Creative direction. This was my last W2 before starting rāv with Vanessa.

Feeling the impact of working with a small brand. You can see the tangible results of your work, and for some, it is life-changing.

We’re able to connect and build relationships on a deeper level. We do not have transactional relationships with anyone we work or partner with. We know about you, your dog, your next vaca — we’re invested.

Being able to flex into all aspects of my skill set. At rāv, I can tap into my creative side with photoshoots and product development. But then nerd out, by building tools from scratch.

Off The Clock
